Speaker What's this GDPR all about?

GDPR is perceived as a compliance issue and something to do with data and IT systems so compliance in most businesses has been handed to someone technical.  The reality is that for smaller businesses this is a survival issue.  Without the ability to generate business from your database, you won’t survive and GDPR could be putting your ability to generate new business at threat. 
GDPR hits on 25th May 2018.  BUT, you’ve not missed the boat, yet!  Simon is going to take you through how GDPR applies to your sales and marketing data and how, if you take careful action, you stand a good chance of being able to both continue marketing to your data as well as avoiding the ridiculous fines being talked about.
Simon runs a business that generates leads and new business for its clients, so he knows a lot about how GDPR is going to affect businesses’ sales efforts.  He has spent much of the last two years helping businesses to run campaigns that serve the double purpose of gaining GDPR compliance and also generating business at the same time.  He has kindly agreed to come and share his knowledge with us, so bring your questions and issues; he will do his utmost to answer to help you.
