How do I choose a Networking event?


    If you don't know what type of networking event is for you here's some help.  In this short video Martin Davies of NRG poses some key questions to ask yourself to make sure you choose a Networking event that's right for you:


    There have never before been more networking events than today.


    You will probably find lots near you:

    • breakfast, lunch or evening
    • free / chargeable
    • structured / unstructured
    • sole traders / business owners of established and larger businesses.


    The important thing is finding a group where you can meet like-minded people regularly to build business relationships and make friends.  It takes time to build trust be prepared to make a long term commitment.


    Key questions to ask yourself are:

    • “Am I likely to find the sort of people who know my target market there? - do they swim in the same pond?”

    • “Do I feel comfortable in this environment”

    • “Can I contribute to the group - am I prepared to?”
